Traveling to Bali with a Baby - Complete Survival Guide
Everything you need to know about visiting Bali with a baby. Flights, equipment, health, nanny services, and essential packing list.
Flying to Bali with a baby might seem daunting, but thousands of families do it every year and love it.
The Flight
Book bassinet seats early. Feed during takeoff and landing. Pack extra changes of clothes in carry-on. Download entertainment for older siblings.
What to Pack
Most baby supplies are available in Bali. Bring: prescription medications, favorite comfort toys, specific formula if breastfeeding is not possible. Do NOT bring: stroller (rent one here), massive amounts of diapers (available everywhere).
Health
Consult your pediatrician before travel. Mosquito protection is important. BIMC Hospital in Kuta/Nusa Dua has excellent pediatric care. Stay hydrated -- babies dehydrate faster in tropical heat.
Book a Nanny
Our newborn specialists are trained for babies 0-12 months. Book a nanny for your first few days to help you settle in. It makes the transition infinitely easier.
